Need thoughts for my future headlights/grille.

I've been running this through my head for a few weeks and don't really know what I want to do with my headlights and grille.

First off, I can't decide between a stock grille painted matte black, and a black mesh grille like the T-Rex. I'm leaning towards mesh.

I was considering doing my headlights in matte black, minus the fog reflector which wouldn't be touched, and the projector shroud, which would be painted PG. I was thinking an LED strip where the amber reflector would have been, and the IM ring around the projector, all 6000K LEDs.

I've also thought about amber LEDs instead of a strip. I've also considered painting the headlights all the way in PG rather than matte black. What do you guys think? I know it's a personal preference thing, but I'm really stuck.

for the grille, I'd go with the Ryou grille from Autokits-X. I've got it and LOVE it. Check out my thread for pics of it:

And for your lights, if your G is PG, I wouldn't do matte black b/c then you would have PG, chrome, and matte black in the headlight, it would just be too busy. Either do it all PG or all matte black (minus the parts you dont want to paint)

And I would send them to Danny@Limited Edition. He does the BEST work in the business

After careful consideration, I've decided on my next grille. That Ryou is nice.

I wonder if it would look better if I did the projector shroud in black or just left it stock. I think I want the lights to be matte black all around minus just the fog reflector though.

Matte black housing, chrome projector shroud. Better contrast.

yeah I think the black housing/chrome fog/projector would be the best choice. Just trying to get 3 colors in there would really be too busy of a color scheme. make sure to post pics when you get them done!

Actually that's exactly what I was thinking like an hour ago while I was at dinner, we must have some weird ESP crap going on. Matte black all around, stock chrome projector housing and fog reflector. I think I'll get an LED strip in place of the old amber strip, and IM ring around the projector, all in 6000K. What do you guys think?

I was a at dinner too! What did you have?

Jk, isn't it mid afternoon in Vegas/SD anyway?

I think just go with the side LED strip, no IM ring. I think if you have both, it might look too much, a little over done, too many LEDs, IMO. Less is more.

Yeah I'm getting the turn housing painted and the bulb swapped for an LED, should I do anything with my fog light itself? I haven't touched it yet, but I have my parking lamp swapped with an LED.

Do you think 6000K for the side strip or amber?

Oh, I'm in Florida for a week actually. Any place you guys can recommend in the SD/LA area to get this all done? Oh, and we had pizza.

I would just do the side strip LED...no IM.

And you can get 6000K HID fogs if you want, they look great if you have 6000K everything else.

On a side note...if you have a good LED turn signal bulb can you PM me where you got it?

Yeah I'm going to make a call tomorrow to see about the turn bulbs. I just had my HIDs replaced with 6000K and my parking lamp is LED. What color LEDs should go in that side strip? Amber or white 6000K?

Edit: Oh, what fogs do you recommend?

If you have everything else 6000K, I would go with 6000K. That's just me though...I think everything in pure white looks sick as hell

as for the fogs, I got my HID kit at www.ddmtuning.com and I think they are amazing. Some people have had problems with them, but they have worked great for me and the DDM crew has always been super fast to help me with any issues whatsoever.

6000K LED.

Check out collection | www.lmted.com. It's a little outdated. PM "danny@limited edition"
