AIT Racing Bodykit

I just had my B magic body kit dropped off for my 09 G37 and it looks to be in raw form w/ no directions and no hardware. Anyone have any experience w/ this body kit. It looks like I will have 50+ hours into making it right, painting it and installing it. If anyone has installed this kit, let me know. There is some scrapes in it that will require some filling and sanding. Not neccessaryly damaged, but poor quality to say the least.

What kit is that? Do you have a link to where you bought it or pictures?

*edit* OP changed the name of his thread... now I know what kit this is. Personal favorite aside from authentic TS.

Body Kits Car Bodykits, Custom Body Kit Wide Bodykit Front Bumpers Ground Effects 09 g37. You have to go to the side skirts, front bumper and rear bumper seperate. they dont have it listed as a kit.

If you literally mean 50+ hours needed making it fit (properly), you could have easily bought authentic Top Secret parts, had them professionally painted and installed and still have a wad of cash left in your pocket for less than you're going to pay. And it will look 1000x better.

I don't know where the BMagic name came from, but the AIT TS kit is called the S-Tech kit for those who don't know. Assuming this is actually the AIT kit and knowing from other people's experiences, the front bumper is going to take quite a bit of work to have it perfectly fit. The sideskirts should be able to fit just fine with a little bit of work...and the rear bumper I'm not quite sure. The most problematic is the front bumper from what I've heard.

The link you posted was a JP Vizage Front Lip. That is a great front lip, my favorite if you dont want to mold.

I'd love to see pics of this kit (YOUR kit, not website pics). I don't even think taking a kit from a BMW and fitting it to a G would take 50 hrs, so you either are exaggerating or bought a real POS lol

Having never heard of this kit before, my guess is that it's not very high quality

Yeah, its the AIT kit. 50 hours might have been a little extreme LOL, but its definatly gonna need alot of work. There are some pits and a few scrapes that I will have to fill and sand and the entire kit is rough to touch, so I will have to spend quite a bit of time getting it into condition before I can primer, paint and clear it. I will have to remove the stock pieces, test fit and trim until its a perfect fit and then put the stock pieces back on since its driven a few times a week. The kit was $1200 shipped to door. I will take some pics and try to post them, but i can never seem to make it work. I had a friend do it for me a few times on v6performance.net for my Accord, maybe I will see if he can do it for me, LOL.

I looked into the top secret kit, but nobody seemed to be able to get one for me. They said they werent sold anymore or they might be able to sell them into the future, but not really a solid answer.

PM me if your still in the market for a T.S. kit.. you may be able to return your AIT if you don't mess with it.

Thanks for the offer, but this kit took me 3 months to get because they were having issues w/ the mold (hopefully thats been fixed, I guess I will find out, LOL). I just want to get going on it now that I have it. Because of work, Iwill only be able to work on it on Sunday, so it will take me awhile to get it done.

Did he say anything about the initial quality of the kit when it first came in, as far as the surface and prep work?
