AIT Racing Bodykit

I took a few pics. of the kit w/ a few examples of the quality issues (sorry for the sideways action). Also pics. of the brackets I made. The Square brackets have to be attached to the back of the skirt in the exact place, then the stock plastic clip slides in the cut out and you just have to push it in the stock locations, like the stock skirt. When you have the skirt in place on the car you can put the square brackets w/ the plastic clip on it, and pop it in place on the car. Then you can reach up from behind and mark where it needs to be w/ a marker, take it back down and attach them in place. I fiberglassed them in so they would be strong. Placement is very important. You can use a little longer piece of metal then I used and cut the line a little longer which will give you more room to play w/. If anyone wants, I can make and send you the 14 brackets for the bottom, the square pieces that you will need and the screws you will need for $100 shipped. The bottom brackets will cost about $3 ea. ($42 total) if you use the closet brackets (you only get 1 bracket from ea. one). The square tube $12 and the screws about $4. Thats about $58 and then I will pay whatever it cost to ship it. So you could save about $40 to do it yourself.

One thing I forgot to mention, I strongly suggest using blue painters tape and taping off the surronding areas before you remove the stock piece and start working on fitment. You dont want to scratch your car up w/ all that on and off you will be doing during fitment.

Yeah, maybe its an overkill, LOL, but its gonna be solid when Im done. The other side will be easier since I already know what Im gonna do now. Im gonna skip the front 2 push in tabs by the front fender. Between the front screw, bottom brackets and the pop rivets in the door jam area, its really solid. That area lines up pretty nice, I might stick some 2 sided tape behind it just to make sure its flush on the outside and keep from having any rattles. Im useing the tape between the bottom of the bottom brackets and the skirt, and anywhere else that I can to protect it from vibrations and rubbing.
