Question What is the best HID Kit for the buck?

I will replace my OEM bulbs in the fog lights on my 2010 G37 Sedan and I am trying to decide, which HID Kit to get.
Some of them are really inexpensive (like the DDM tuning Kit, which I am thinking to get) but I don't want to buy an inexpensive kit that is also cheap and low quality.
Which HID kit on the market is the best value for the buck? (I am looking for a reliable kit that would not die on me after a couple of months.)
Thanks guys.

Xenon conversion, Xenon conversion kit, hid ballast, bi xenon hid kits, hid xenon bulbs

Best kits, hands down. They're doing a special for $43.99 shipped to your door and they're great kits w/ slim ballasts. I've purchased about 6 kits from them, H1, H8, 9006 9005, so many different types and they all work great\

You'll need an H8 kit by the way for the fogs. The Sylvania bulb type website is wrong.

Order placed for some HID Upgrades myself....

Discount code for iJDMtoys.com "GOJDM" or "JDMFAN" got me 15% off my order.

1) Garax D2S Xenon Replacement HID Light Bulbs - 6000K (To Replace OEM Headlights)
2) Osram Powered HID Conversion Kit with slim digital HID ballasts (H11/H8 for Fog lights - 6000K)

They should be here by the weekend, so I will post some pictures during and post install.

Should it be 35W or 55W? What is the difference in Watts?

The H8 halogen bulb is 35W, so you should replace it with 35W HID. The 35W HID will still give you much more light, but without risking electrical system problems. Also, keep in mind that HIDs have a surge current when the arc strikes, so another reason not to go with 55W types.

Another point: Before you replace the H8 bulbs, make a measurement along a wall as to where the foglight's pattern cutoff line is. When I replaced mine, I noticed that the HIDs caused the pattern to shift downward very noticeably. It's a lot easier to make the height adjustment when you have everything opened up (e.g. wheel fenders) than to discover this later!

Correct the H8 Halogen bulb is 35W, the H11 Halogen bulb is 55W. The bases for both H8/H11 are the same however, so when looking for a HID conversion kit they are one in the same, and as long as the HID output is still 35W as with the ones sold @ iJDMtoys.com you are good to go.

Great info and suggestion. Thanks a lot. i was wondering about the cutoff line and if it would be a little farther than the stock bulbs.

Then 35W it is. Thanks for the feedback. do you need to purchase the wire harness for the kit or you can just connect it to the original sockets?

I guess you'd need the harness for proper installation...
