2010 Xs sport seat question?

Does anyone know if they changed the sport seats in the 2010 XS? I heard they are a little different than the 2009 XS seats and better suited to Americans. Its a little late for me to get an Xs, since my car will be 1 year old in a month, but I was just curious.

They feel exactly the same as 2008/2009 xs seats. Only difference is we (2010s) lost power lumbar. cost cutting in the wrong places....

the 2009 had power lumbar?!?!?! oh man! I can't believe my sales guy didn't even mention that. That's actually something I pointed out to him that I wish the seat had lumbar. I even asked if there was any way to add power lumbar (besides getting new seats). I REALLY want power lumbar..I just can't get the adjustability I need with this.

Overall, I love the sport seats though, SO much more than the regular ones.

Thanks.

Yup, 08-09 had power lumbars. My previous car (2006 g35x) had reclining rear seats. Infiniti is wierd.

And about sport seats. I am 5'11' and 170lbs and they are at the limit of being too tight on the thighs part. Seats have a metal brace in them (why?) and are a little bit too much for my taste. Sport seats are definitely a step up above regular seats.

But in my opinion there are only two companies that got sport seats right in a sedan. BMW (3series, 5series contour seats (best seats I ever seen)), and Recaro seats (Audi S4, Cadillac CTS-V)

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into something to do about it.

I have the sport seats and I'm 5'6" 160lbs. I actually have them pretty tight, too, and I love it. Interesting.

I'm 6'0" 195lbs and the sport seats fit me quite comfortably. I think it depends on how you carry your weight. I use the air bladders to tighten up the side support on the back and leg part of the seat.
