Quarter panel damage in accident - paint question
I was in an accident this morning where a car turned into me damaging my left quarter panel and side-mirror.
It's a 2009 sedan, almost a year old. I remember when i traded in my old car they brought out a paint meter and ran it through my trade-in complaining that it was off by xxx bla bla bla.
My question is once i get my g repaired and the damaged area repainted if I run the paint meter around the car should it be consistent if the job was done right?
Also any body shop recommendations in orange county (irvine vicinity).

It will never be consistent enough to hide it from a paint meter. That's kind of the whole point
Look into something called "diminished value" and file another claim against the other parties insurance for the loss of value that you have now incurred.
