Anyone roof overlay on OB?

I was wondering what you guys thought about using bluebatmobiles roof over lay on an OB Coupe to protect the paint on the roof since our clear coats SUCK and chip/stain with every little touch.

Would this look ok? I am not sure because I dont know what the overlay is made of? Thanks for your input

The roof would look like a different shade of black. Just b/c there would be something on it, you wouldn't be able to get the same look from it. Not worth it IMO

no I've seen an IP coupe with CF vinyl. It looks like poop in any application, inside or outside though.

I did my rear valance in CF vinyl ... But I don't know how it would look covering the entire roof.

I say leave it alone on a black car, or maybe clear bra it instead??

If you are really terrified about scratching it, ^^ that's the best idea. Just clear bra it. But realistically if you take care of it and follow a good wash/wax/detailing schedule you should be fine.
