Most of these master techs have been doing this for a long long time and are careful about wires The only place in the door that is reinforced is along the centerline.

I just got my first door ding yesterday at my apartment complex. I know who did it as I am paying for the covered parking and I know who parks next to me as they pay for the parking as well. I have talked to the complex and they are going to send him a letter notifying him to contact me. If he does not contact me within a few days, they are going to give me his contact information so I can talk to him. It looks to be mostly scuffs which should be able to be polished out, and the dimple should be able to be massaged out if i take the wheel liner out and reach it.

All I want is for him to pay me to cover this as I should be able to do most of it myself. Or else take it to a body shop and get them to five me a quote and then ask him to pay for it all. I don't know yet, but I am really mad. 2 years and this is the first thing that happens.

DAMN Edge540 sorry about that! I have called already like 5 mobile Paintless Dent Removals, getting these $80-150 quotes. I did some research, and when you call them, you can ask to have the MASTER PDR guy come out, how do you know he is the best? Its so crazy, so many guys going to school for this and are rookies at it. Anyone can say yeah iam the MAster PDR of the dent wizar, dent doctor franchise. I was told over the phone, he has to put his instrument through the front of the door area underneath the side mirror, they all tell me , dont worry about how we do it, its going to be perfect. I just ask cause you know there is wires, hardware, glass back there. I guess i'll just leave my gut to them and let the professionals handle it. What state u in?

Im in Indiana. If I was you I would rather go to a brick and mortar place rather than the mobile PDR guys as shops are usually more reputable and have been in business for a while. You know that if they do not have a good dent removal guy that they would not still be in business. How do you know how long the mobile guys have been doing it for? You probably could see some of the other work being done at a store rather than trusting the mobile dude.

Also, if something ever happened to your car due to the dent removal, you could always go back to the store to get it figured out. Just my 2 cents.

I'm going to hope the guy will accept guilt and agree to pay for all repairs. He is back in his spot and I looked at his rear door, and guess what? There is PG paint on the edge! exactly the same height as my dent, I measured and took pictures. I'm definitely putting my foot down on this one!

Looks like you don't have any scuffs or paint damage on yours. Good luck getting it out!
