by the third brake light u mean the one thats normally clear? well since i was taking the picture i jus put the emergency button on so the lights in the back wud blink. i had no idea it would be different (the middle light isnt normally on when u brake?). so i shuda said with emergency light, not brake sryyy
haha i live on the west coast of florida. ive seen plenty of cars with smoked out tails so i hope i dont have an issue. in your guys opinion was it bad that i had the third brake light sprayed over?
I agree you’ve made your car a cop magnet, and all the risks that entails.
At risk of turning this into a back and forth thread, and as much as I agree with you about tinting the front windshield, I completely disagree about the tails.
Unless you completely black the tails out (which is dumb and I've NEVER seen anyone do it) there is zero saftey risk of tinting the tails. It is still very easy to see the brake lights, both during night and day

Well, putting aside the safety issue (where I still believe that if there’s less light emitted from darkened tails then there’s a potential safety risk), I was coming from the position of attracting cops because they may believe the darkened tails have not met the state’s standard for light emission. In other words, even if these tails are legal they still may draw attention from law enforcement. And you’ve heard it before: get pulled over for one thing and they may find another, etc…
