Anybody got a noisy window?
I have a 2010 G37 Coupe and the driver window makes a rattling noise when it is lowered.
I took it to the dealer, and they replaced the interior mechanism and then said the problem was still there. So I brought it back (4 hour job) and they changed the motor.
After the work, the mechanic said it was still a bit noisy but it was normal due to the backlash in the gears.
Well, it was ok for a few days, but now it is much noisier, and it rattles when it is being lowered when you are driving.
I realize, the door / window is complicated but this is rediculous. A luxury car should not have rattling windows.
Anyone else have this?

Guy: Hey my transmission is grinding in pretty much all my gears
Sales manager: You mean all of your gear not just one?
Guy: Yeah, every single gear, even first.
Sales manager: oh thats normal...it should fix itself on its own.

I disagree. He already bought the car from them. They can care less about him in the long run. every dealership is different and handles their problems differently. However with that being said there is a trend showing that the dealership dont really care about you nor your car.

They made their money from the purchase or lease of the vehicle but they'll make more every time he brings his car in for service, maintenance or warranty work. It will put more money in their pocket if they have him as a client.
A dealership that didn't sell you the car and sees that you are unhappy with the service you are getting elsewhere will try to please your needs to gain you as a client and have you spend your money at their location rather than where you bought the car.

Plus dealerships/customer service reps thats gets all 5's on surveys based on your experience get compensated..the rep and the dealership both get compensated. It benefits any dealership to make you happy and for u to give all 5's...plain n simple. They want your business. Period.

This is coming up more and more we are seeing a decent amount of the 2010's come in with this issue and they are reccomending replacing the regulator which is not a solution as far as my techs are concerned. Guess we have to wait for infiniti to come out with a tsb / fix.

I have the exact same problem on my 2011 g37 journey coupe. Its in both windows on mine. Dealer said the same thing, "Nothing is wrong." I'm like ummm yeah no the piece of garbage i had in college didn't even have a rattle while rolling the window down.
Did you ever find a solution?
