I'm confused as to how you got the color to match on the spoiler. How'd you do that?

yeah ill try to remember to get pictures of my grille and chrome lip. I just washed and painted over my old black paint on my grille. Didnt do any sanding, but im pretty sure its on there pretty good.

its not color matched. its kind of a matted black

I would go with 2 cans to be safe and i would put go with at least 3 coats. My advice, take the grille off to do it and on the valance, peel it off soon after you're done spraying so it won't dry and try to stick to the tape/paper. It dries fairly quickly. GL man! Really want to do my valance but the taping is gonna take me a while to get it right I know.

the store only had one can so im doing spoiler and grille 1st coat dryng now removed both of them im going with 2 heavy coats..illl post pics tomorrow with it on

Valence came out pretty bad, I just did one and the edges are perfect....lol

Can you use clear coat over this and still be able to peel it off? It sounds interesting but I'd like a little more glossy look.

^^Good question and I would think so since you're using it on the coating itself. Have to try that.

the spoiler looks better on black i see,,, im taking mine off soon i dont like it better than chrome one for my car.....maybe with my valence done it would match more

As crazy as it is to say, chrome looks better. Leaving mine as is until I get a spoiler but not at the top of my list. Way to try it out now peel it off and tell everyone how easy it is.

@franky2222: try doing the diffuser. then the matte black on the spoiler will match the bottom and it might look better
i think itll look best when the car is fully debadged (or maybe with just the infiniti emblem left). the chrome offsets the matte :P
im planning on debadging soon.

looks good from the pics jujubii but i think i might go vinyl on the valence and have the chrome spoiler painted to match the car
