Removing panels to install tint?
So I live in new York and there is a very good place called lorenzo's in the bronx that is known for their quality. I also know that they remove the panels in order to install the tint. Has anyone had this done or been to this shop? If so, any problems with rattling of the panels after install?

Door or rear deck panels don't need to be removed .... if they are telling you it does they are not good at what they do.

they dont NEED to be removed. but it is a very normal practice to do so.
I had the G tinted without removing the panels, and had another car tinted while the panels were removed. both came out perfect. its just about what shop you take it to and how they run their business

Well my take on it is if they don't need to be removed best not to do so. Once you start removing those snap clips they loosen up and you are asking for rattling problems. Almost inevitably one clip will break somewhere.

I've never had them pull my door panels off to tint my windows but I can see two reasons why they would want to do this. One, some door panels cover (or nearly cover) the inner seal. Two, you don't get water and soap all over the door panel ( a huge factor when working with nice leather door skins).

Just though of another reason. You can inspect the window tracks and felt while you're in there. If you're going to warranty your work, you don't want the customer coming back because of bad seals or felts scratching up your work. My buddy took his car back for new tint three seperate times before they finally replaced his felts.

See normally I would agree but the place Lorenzo tint does many high end cars and I have found only one out of thousands that had a negative comment... He is regarded one of the best in the state.
