Thanks for speculating instead of knowing, but I don't have a spoiler on the car to mount over. Just the out of place chrome piece that comes with the car.
And to be honest I would have liked to see a replacement spoiler like you are describing. Kind of like the old G35 whale tail. But they don't have one. So just like the furniture that I build. I knew what I wanted, found materials to make it, and with pride built it myself. And I take away a good feeling because I was able to create it and not just WISH somebody else would make it.

A well designed spoiler that is properly matched with the car, and mounted in the correct position will have a noticeable effect at 60 mph.
Aerodynamics have come a long way in the last 30 years.
Simple proof: Look at the front bumper of ANY coupe with a TS/TS style front lip. There will be some noticeable damage from stress created by downforce

Here you go folks a new body kit for your very own G37. GT-R style. Sorry for the far pics but I just picked it up from AIT today.
New Front Bumper
New Rear Bumper
New Side Skirts
New Carbon Fiber Roof Cover
To be honest there are a couple of small fitment issues with the front bumper, but nothing I can't live with. I like stuff perfect, but you are not going to get perfect without stamped steel or a crap load of money.
And yes the bottom of the front bumper has a Carbon Fiber lower skirt.
I will try to get some closer pics in the morning.
