Painted Grille.

I have a 09 G37xS and i have a decent amount of paint chips on my grille. I want to get my factory grill painted black. Any ideas? I live in Ohio and i'm not very handy with the DIY. Thanks in advance.....

If you really aren't comfortable with the DIY (I promise it is SUPER easy) then you can go to the dealer and just buy the pre painted midnight black grille.

Or I've got a sweet aftermarket one FS if you want to take a look at it, PM me

Just take it to a paint/body shop and they should be able to paint it for probably 100bucks or less.

The OEM black grille from the dealer is like 250.

I was thinking of painting my grille black too. I have heard where paint chipping can happen if you use the wrong paint. One of our members used black truck liner spray paint and reported good success. I was thinking of doing the same but with some clear coat on top.

There's a lot of info on how to remove the grille in the DIY forum. Have not attempted it myself.

Much more than that. Cheapest you can find is on EBay for $319. Plus a dealer will charge you labor for removal and installation.

It's a $500+ job if you just walk into the stealership and ask them to supply the parts and labor.

Painting it and installing it yourself is a ~$25 job.
