I just noticed a very small white LED in the map/dome/sunroof control area yesterday illuminated while I was driving the vehicle ('09 G37x coupe). It went off after I shut the engine down and exited the car. I've never seen this light before. Can anyone help explain what it's purpose/indication is for, please? Thank you!

Really? How do you turn it off?

 

I like it too .... I think if you search for previous posts on the subject you will find the vast majority like the light and there is no way to turn it off. One poster actually removed the LED. Easy solution is to get as close as you can colored electrical tape and cut a small circle and cover it. Or even easier, leave and don't worry about it.

 

Yea I was the one that removed it. It would be nice with an on and off switch...but I'd probably have it off all the time. :P I'm definitely the minority regarding this light being on or off.
