8000k HID fogs put in, now what about the stock headlights?!?

09 G37x Coupe Black on Black

I got 8000k HID fogs put in yesterday from xenonlink.com. Looks awesome, great blue tint to it. I got some PIA bulbs for the daytime lights so that looks white (people told me leds would burn out). But now my stock headlights look bad, giving off a yellowish tint mixing it up. I want to change it out to I guess 6000k hids? I hear that looks more white with a tiny blue tint.

So heres the thing, do i need to get a whole HID kit for that or just the bulbs? They are suppose to be HIDs already right? I read they are D2S. Should i get the 6000k? 5000k? So any help would be great or recommendations/where to get them from.

you only need bulbs, no kit or anything. just get D2S bulbs and plug them in where the OEM ones are. I'd get 6000K, but contrary to what others say about 6000K having a blue tint, mine are 6000K and PURE white, absolutely no blue to them

If I'm correct the stocks are 4700k and if you go to 5,000K -5,500k its pure white. I think I've seen some 6000ks with tint of blue.

Anyone try the V-LED Xenon lights? I know they make the best LED bulbs...

i think ill get the 6000k d2s, i got the 8000k fogs. So i guess that will go together good. I have my 8k from xenonlink.com, had it in my old accord too. No problems with them and find them reliable, think i might get the d2s from there too, pretty cheap. Otherwise V-led has some. think any real difference? I'll take some pics when i get a chance

lol I've never seen 2 different bulbs for low/high beams. it's just one bulb that switches between low and high beam

Here are my 8000k xenonlink.com fogs, piaa daytime lights and stock high/low which I am trying to change out. You can see the yellowish tint in the pics, mostly the 2nd and 3rd. I know i need to do something about the turn signal too.

for the turn signal bulb get Chrome Dome bulbs...they still flash orange (so they are legal) but they are coated in chrome so when you look at the lights there isn't that ugly orange spot.

hamstersG has them here is his link https://www.myg37.com/forums/body-in...me-vision.html
