You are not gaining anything when you go above 5500k or so. Stock is about 4300k and considered optimal. Although less bright than some of the 5500k's it's considered better in rain and snow.
Anything about 6700 is illegal in Japan and for good reasons: it shines blinding blue light while doing a **** poor job lighting up the street in front and is absolutely useless in rain.

Anyway, to gain visibility, you should change your fog HID's to 6000 or so and install matching headlights.

If you install anything below 8000k as your headlights now, the difference will still be very noticeable. Of course you can try getting some 8000k D2S's and go with them, but at your own risk.

I think i will go with the 6000k d2s for better visibility. Think I will leave the fogs 8000k, dont mind it being a little more blue. As long as the I get rid of that yellow look. You think I will lose much brightness going from the stock 4300 to 6000 in my high/low?

not at all. my 6000K's are obviously much brighter and whiter than the OEM's but I can't tell a distance difference at all. I will say I would never go higher than 6000K but you will be fine with that

I did...you said "6000K low beams and high beams...if they have that?"

I thought you meant if they have a bulb that is both hi/low, not if they have that color temp.

Did you guys know that our headlights high beam don't go brighter when you turn on the high beams? It's the same light output.

There's a cover mechanism that opens and allowing your lights to burst everywhere. That's what we have. BI Xenon

Am I the only one on here who likes their fog lights to be bright yellow?? I like the contrast of the fogs, I have matching lights when using the lights only ( changed city light to 5k led ) matches great!

I like my fogs to match the headlights, i think it looks really good to have 4 6000K lights going

The headlights look good, the fogs are a little too blue for my taste but if you like them that is all that matters!

quick question, is there a way to turn on the headlights without the fogs on the coupe? was taking a look today and couldnt figure it out. reason being that i wanted to get new fogs, preferably ones that are either very yellow or ones that have a blue tint, but i dont want them on all the time. if there was a way to keep the fog lights off when the regular head lights are on, then i would switch the fogs out. i dont want to have blue fogs on while driving on the highway and annoy others, would primarily be for show purposes only.

Is that an 8000k hid kit you have in your fogs?

Did you change your parking lights? If so what did you use there?

Ummm....yeah...just turn on the headlights. The fogs have a separate on/off switch....

Really, the blueish 8000k looks rice, frankly I think the OEM 4300K is close enough to white for me. IMHO of course
