Tell him mike with the XLR, Jeep, STI, amongst many more cars recommended you.
I'll second the rec for Lee. I have never seen a bad job come from him.

I went to Installations Unlimited on route 22 in Union NJ. They did a good job with 20% 3M tint all around for around $250

In virginia you cant tint the driver/passenger windows as dark as the rear.... Looks weird unless you go same % all the way around.

Best tint in NNJ is Lee over in Kenilworth. Does it while you watch him. Extra careful and tint looks oem. Had a speckle or two of dirt in side window and he replaced it the following weekend no questions asked. Really a great guy. Superior work. leeberbs@comcast.net

bumping an old thread ... This is true depending on the town. I once has a cop ticket me for no other reason and had 35% on the front sides (volvo c30). I went with 50% on the front sides on my G37 coupe and never had a problem. Actually like it a lot and looks classy.

They stop you for no reason anyway, so if they don't find nothing else wrong they may go for the tint and give you a ticket. So I may do the rears only. Any darkness is allowed for the rears in NJ anyways. Although I don't like the rears only look. All windows tinted have a more uniform look. Stupid tint laws!
Just a follow up on this NJ ticket subject, I've had my G for over 3 years now, 35% fronts and rear and never even got a second look from cops, and that's driving mostly central and north jersey with the occasional shore or AC trip. I think the key is don't do "Limo" fronts and you should be fine.

Lee Burbs is now on Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/leeberbs

He is in Hillsborough, NJ now offering a range of Madico and Wincos window films.

Finally got a response yesterday and hope to be tinting with LEE soon on my new 2013 G37x Sedan.

IMO it's better to have windows tinted even at 35% it's not too light not too dark, rather than having your car like a fish tank completely see through when you drive or sit in the car,and the truth is that if they want they will pull you over for anything regardless if u have the windows tinted or not, and also I'd rather put up with a ticket every now and then rather than have my car see through and get really hot inside during summer especially with black leather

I see there's quite couple more guys from NJ here, any meets you guys go to around Central NJ or somewhere nearby ? Would definitely be down to meet up

Agreed! Can't stand non-tinted windows now, getting my new G tinted this Wednesday with Lee Burbs, Madico Charcool tint 35% on the sides, 20% rear. Will post some pix then.

I suggest to get all around the same percentage so it looks nice and even, that's what I got 35% Solar Adaptive Ceramic tint all around (installed by EVS Motors) in Houston, TX where I picked up my car anyway, in sun they can get up to 10% darker( meaning they can be as dark as 25%) and when at night time they can get up to 10% lighter ( meaning can be as light as 45%) and they reduce up to 70% of the heat that gets into the car also got my windshield tinted too with 75% tint that is barely visible yet reduces up to 70% of the heat aswell... don't even ask how much it was, If I was do to it again on my car, I wouldn't do it believe me

if I have the coupe I'll tint 20% all around I decided not tint my vert because it doesn't look good with tint windows when top down at all .
