Fog Lights by-pass? On without lowbeams ON

Has anyone with some wiring skills and figured out how to by-pass the lowbeam requirement for FOG Lights to turn on for G37sedan? I'd like to be able to wire it to ignition of parking...So many other lux brands are able to just cruise with the lower lights on and nothing else- looks so stealth...I need it!

Thanks!
*and if this already exists please provide link- I DID do a search and nothing really came up?

I'll see if this answers your question since you keep posting it everywhere you can.

The lighting system on this car is not simply switches and relays like other cars. The BCM controls the lights via digital signals to the IPDM E/R (where the fog relay is) based on the light switch signal. You can't simply rewire the relay's enable pin. It requires a thorough knowledge of the systems so you could bypass it without blowing the BCM.

There is a company that sells a module that simulates the digital signal and enables you to control the fog lamps independent from the headlights. If you search you should find it.

Yup - that will get you to the module used.

Thanks Freesurfer - we were thinking alike.
