Adaptive headlights on 2010 model
Hi gang,
I'm nearing the end of the lease on my 2007 G35X, and I'm looking at the 2010 G37X, since the '07 was such a great car for me.
One of the gizmos that I liked on the '07 was the Adaptive Lighting System (AFS) where the inside headlight would turn with the steering wheel. I don't see any mention of it on the Infiniti sight for the '10 model. Has it been dropped from the features/options list?
Can anyone with a 2010 G37 let me know if their model has it?
While this won't be a deal-breaker on getting a new one, I'm curious to see if it is still available.

they took it off for the 2010.
they traded the adaptive headlights for the plasmacluster A/C i think.
I'm still wondering why the adaptive lights are the only non auto-leveling system out there. I loved how my old car "blinked"

+1. Had them on my Lexus, and other than showing people how the lights could turn when I cornered, they were of little use. To be honest, I think they were actually a bit distracting because I tended to pay more attention to the light beam moving than what was on the road ahead of me.

Not on the 2010. Tech for 2010 includes:
• Intelligent Cruise Control with Preview Braking
• Advanced Climate Control System with Plasmacluster™ air purifier
• Rain-sensing, flat-blade variable intermittent front windshield wipers
• Pre-Crash Seat Belts

these lights are more of a gimmick than anything. since we have projectors, our beam is wide spread already, no need for them to turn to left or right.
adaptive headlights arent like a navigation or sport package where you will regret not getting it later on. how far off to the side do you want to see anyway, you just focus on whats ahead of you.

I have AFS on my IS350 and I love them. Its just cool IMO (but not exactly necessary). I still don't understand why they removed this feature from the tech package for 2010. And they definitely did remove it....
