And I'm assuming that this was a reply to my post? So this is a non-sport model? And how much would this run?

It looks different b/c Stoof had it molded and painted so that only the splitter was left CF.

No, that wasn't a reply to your post. See how Stoof has a sport bumper?

It look extremely clean, but now correct me if I'm wrong, most lip kits will fit sport models of our cars but not the Journey or base, however this bumper would fit regardless, he was just showing that you could put in a new bumper and by doing what he did make it look like a seperate lip kit... Sorry for the noobish question...

You're getting a little bit confused. Yes most kits out there are made for the Sport bumper. There are a few lips out there for the Non-sport bumper, but you don't see very many people buying them. Both the Sport and non-sport bumpers are exchangeable. Stoof already has a Sport, and he got the autokits-x lip kit and had it MOLDED to the sport bumper. Hence, it looks like just one bumper.

On the other hand, I have a journey, I decided to buy a sport bumper and swap out my non-sport bumper. I also have the autokits-x lip, but i decided not to mold it.

I love how the autokits-x lip looks but I don't want the fiberglass. I want a polyurethane one. I scrape the lip on my g35 every other day, and nothing happens to it. Fiberglass would more than likely break right away. Correct me If I am wrong. I never dealt with fiberglass lip kits before.

Yes you are correct, poly is flexible and gives some. Fiberglass tends to crack way easy. I prefer the stillen lip, clean and simple and very forgiving

That is the one and only downside to the Autokits lip. I had it on and caught it on a parking garage median (the G didn't clear it by about 1/8") and it basically totalled the lip

It looks AWESOME but you have to be careful if you are prone to scraping

poly cracks the paint easily.. i've had both

If only the bottom is scraping, you will be totally fine with fiberglass. it might have tiny cracks in it, but nothing bad (as will any material that scrapes on the road)

like what happened with me though, if you hit something above the bottom surface of the fiberglass, that's where you can have possible problems. I've never had anything polyurethane so I can't speak to how that holds up
