hot spots with stock projectors???

I just got my HID bulbs from amplified motorsports and they are nice and bright ..better than my hpa bulbs. but there is a problem. on my passenger side projector, there is a definite hot spot in the center of the beam. my left side is fine and the projector beam looks as it should. I can tell when I am driving or parking against a wall.

never had this problem with other bulbs and these new HID's bulbs are the only variable within my headlights. the bulbs only fits on way so I know fitment is not an issue. bad bulb? any ideas??

I would try to take a pic but I dont have a good camera so wont pick up the light too well

yea i never had this problem with any car with stock projectors. almost like the bulb is burning brighter then it should so it created a hotspot in the middle. im going to try swapping bulbs from left to right to verify

Yeah I haven't had any issue like that. Amplified did my work for HID. I got 6000K bulbs for my beams and they set me up with fog light HID. He did mine on Friday as a matter of fact.

not bashing amplified or anything, they shipped my order quickly and no hassle. Just some faulty bulbs from the manufacturer. At this point I am going to return them and get some philips ultinon as they have great reviews.
