Got my driver seat replaced...but WTF

I finally decided to get my seat replaced due to bubbling. I picked it up 30 minutes ago. I just got home and noticed that my seat doesn't match my old one! I'm not sure what year they changed the seat design, but it sucks that my passenger and driver seats look different. Now I'm kind of bummed out and wish I didn't do it in the first place.

On top of that, the thigh support adjustment doesn't work nearly as well as it did before! It used to hug my legs pretty well, but now I can barely feel the air get in.

For those of you with 08's who got it done within the past year or so, did they replace it with the same one, or the updated one??

I'm not sure if I have a right to complain about this...I mean I did get what I asked for. But still, I'm disappointed, more so because my seats don't match.

Well I'm wondering a few things. Are the 09/10 seats any more durable than the 08's? Also, would they even have any 08 button seats in their inventory?

Yeah it's definitely going to irritate me that they don't match. I'm sure if I even sold the car, a person would notice such a thing.

Here's a few pics I just took.

Current New Driver's Seat

Current Original Passenger's Seat

Now does this look awkward to you or what??? Man, I think even the colors look off.

that's normal ... mine are the same. Thought it was an issue but look at other pics. The pattern is different on the Drivers vs Passengers

This is from the Infiniti Web site

OK that is completely unacceptable! I would be right back up there in the morning. They must make this right ASAP.

Dang, I better go look in the car before I put foot in mouth again. I think they match but after reading the last post, I wonder.

Pattern is different on both sides like in demo pic above. My G has it just like that too.

The Color should match the top seat part. In the pics its washed out by flash.

Oh haha wtf, why did they do that? Yeah I never noticed because the 08's had the same pattern on both sides.

Well I'm still a bit irritated by the slight color difference. But I guess I'll have to live with it...at least until I can somehow get a bubble to form on the other side...

Start knapping in the pasenger seat with an overstuffed wallet in your pocket.
Should only take a week or two.

From your original post, I thought they completly re-designed the seat covers. Thats the gas amplification diflection pad. Standard on all sport models.

The color I believe is normal. After some time it will also become glossier
