Intelligent Key Unlocking Windows...Moonroof?

Can the Intelligent Key and/or Manual Key open the powered windows and the moonroof?

I tested this out a few times and the moonroof does not open with the powered windows.

Is this a short coming?

Thanks.

Mine only opens the windows, by holding down the unlock button for more than 3 seconds. It cannot open the moonroof, or close the windows.

I thought I read that holding down the key fob can roll down the windows remotely. I haven't tried it though.

My '03 VW had the fob opening windows and closing windows and moonroof. We're kind of behind times. It also had rain-sensing wipers!!

One needs to be careful with this feature. I went to dinner with my wife last Friday and parked my G next to the doorway of the restaurant I locked the car. It was raining!! When we came out it was unlocked and the windows were open about 3 inches.
My guess is that the button got presses in my pocket without knowing it. I know that it would have to have been pressed for 3 or 4 seconds, but this is my only explaination.

There was no major damage, but the seats and carpet were wet. I just drove home and dried things out.

Sorry if I wasn't clear: it opens the windows when you hold down the unlock button for 3 seconds. But it can't close the windows.
