Won't be able to tell but it would generate more heat. Definitely need to get LEDs rated for automotive use, not just regular ones from superbrightleds.com or something.

What if i get something like PIAA bulbs? They have em in 5000K color dont they? IDK if itll make a difference cuz the HID will overpower any light made by the city lights

PIAA bulbs are always good. They're filament so it shouldn't burn out from the HID, but I haven't tried them yet.

HID will be stronger but you should still be able to see the driving light with the PIAA.

I bought the PIAA bulbs, not that bright. I haven't installed them yet but I tried one in the map light and compared to my LED (5K 5 led) it seemed dull. I tried to do parking and fog today but I gave up trying to get to the lights. I went through the wheel well but couldn't tell what was what. Just managed to get the glove box, back-up and factory ambient installed,

Yes, I believe it will be too hot. Depending on how often you use your fogs, it can damage your LED's on the citylights.
I got PIAA city lights and the output sucks! I miss having the 12 LED super whites from superbright LED's but they don't last too long in the headlight housing.

So far I've had success with the Super Tower III from Autoillumination.com as my city lights. The Super white matches the stock headlight color very well. I wish I could make those my daytime running lights (without having the "parking lights" on as well during the day).

I rarely use my foglights, so I just stuck with the originals since the lower color temp will help me see better when I really need it. Fog lights for the fog...what a concept. But this was only after not having much luck finding much to my liking.
