License Plate Frame

How much do the OEM License Plate Frames usually cost at the dealerships?

Referring to the ones on this page:
2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan | Accessories | Infiniti USA

My car came with black dealership logo frames; I'm looking to replace with either OEM or some other Infiniti/G37 frames I've found on the web. Haven't seen anything I'm thrilled about yet. The third-party ones all seem to cost $35-$45 bucks each plus shipping (times 2 for front/back), which seems like a lot to pay for something I don't like that much.

Also, any suggestions on some good looking alternatives to the OEMs?

TIA

I’m not a fan of these frames. Unless you’ve debadged the rear, a frame with the Infiniti script and logo is a redundancy. I’ve taken off the cheap, plastic frames that came with the car of course (I don’t care to give the dealer free advertizing), and like many debadgers claim, it appears to be a much cleaner look with no frames.

Yeah, you don't need those frames if you didn't debadge your rear. Too much INFINITI and Fuji emblem going on. $40!!??, I wouldnt even put it on if it was free!

There are so many more frames available out there to make your car more personalized.

That's an interesting thought. Maybe I'll go for something else that looks good. I don't like the frame-less look as much I think.

i did not like the frame-less look either, so i went to my university bookstore and picked up some alumni frames. looks much better now and represents me. much better than the infiniti frames. look around and find something that personalizes you more.

I bought two chrome frames with Infiniti logo on eBay (buy-it-now, no bidding) for about $20 with shipping included. Received them yesterday, look really nice.

I'm using a WeatherTech frame that is an acrylic plastic. Maintains a clean look but protects the tag as well.

You can get some custom frames here Custom License Plates, Personalized License Plate Frames, European License Plates . Add a little personal flair to you car if you want something different. I have not used the site though.

Get a frame that deflects laser and cameras Pretty sure my comment will be taken off, but I think it should be left on because it only is illegal in some states... haha! Seriously, it is the same as an acrylic plate, but serves numerous purposes.

LOL. Do they actually work?

I ended up going for a plain thin chrome frame. Just something subtle, and matches well with the badge-ing on the back. Really anything was better than black plastic dealership frames.

No they don't work. Myth Busters did a whole series on them .... not a single one "fooled" lasers or camera's.
