BUMP!

Anybody gotten far with this... the faux vent covers are hideous, and need to go. I'd be all over this kit like stink on sh*t if it were available...

I almost just want to remove them, but read the is a reservoir bottle behind passenger side. Doesn't seem to hard to take the bottle out, cut it, and put it back together (adhesive, silicon, duct tape, etc.?) to make it smaller.

Anybody know about removing the covers? Can it be done without removing bumper?

Just wait till the 2011 model comes out. Hopefully it will just be an even swap for the new front fascia with the separate fogs on our cars.

If you need to remove the washer fluid bottle, you will need to remove the bumper. Otherwise, you can remove the wheel + wheel well and try to get to the faux brake vent. But I'd suggest remove the bumper, easier to work with for what you're attempting.
