you could easily just put some lamin-x film over it to help protect. No foglight is ever really safe from a rock.

anyone ever think about putting these on? The dimensions looks small and thin enough to fit. Might have to screw them into the bumper though. Just an idea, anything to fill in the space of the fake vent.

Are you guys willing to do wiring and routing yourself? If you're looking for molded piece + HID fogs and projector set, it's not gonna be cheap. Probably a good few hundred bucks.

I don't know how many would be willing to do that AND do the wiring since you'd have to for adding HID fogs.

Another issue is the washer fluid bottle clearance, but when I measured it, I think it was doable, but just very tight.

Danny, how about a non HID fog light kit? I would assume it would have a much simpler wiring, and more space to work with.

I would definitely be ready to spend about $200-$300 for a decent, proper fitting kit.

Danny, is there anyway you could come up with pricing for both kits (HID and halogen bulbs) ? I really think this would improve our front fascia greatly since those fake vents have no use right now.

One of the main reason why the HID projector idea didn't go through was because of mounting. I didn't want to have to fabricate mounting tabs. Still looking for a solution.

i don't understand why nobody has installed LED's as fogs yet...by drilling holes in the plastic piece....get igor to rig something up with audi led's or something....kinda like the merc E class

Many did, looked tacky. Didn't look as great as people have imagined. Execution was fine, the look just didn't flow or fit with the car.

Yes. To date I have only seen one person pull off LEDs down there and have it look good.

I still say something like this PilotAutomotive.com : Product : Lights a simple clear lens halogen. If people want, they can upgrade it HID on their dime and worry about the wiring.

projectors are unnecessary. Its been super foggy here lately and i could use a nice set of fog lamps closer to the ground.
