That is why I did 15% on the back 3 windows and 20% on front 2 windows. I think it is pretty much the perfect combo. I can see fine at night and still cant see into my car during the day.

I have 35% on the sides and 20% out back and I've been stopped 8 times last year. Thats right 8 times. All for tint being too dark. I've come to my own conclusions as to why I get stopped but thats another story. Fact is in NYC there are millions of people who have illegal none DOT approved lights that blind oncoming traffic on a dialy basis and I've yet to see any of them get pulled over. So for anyone who uses the 'saftey' argument I cannot agree with. I've had tint on several cars and I've NEVER had ANY issues seeing out of the car, it has however made it easier for me to see out of the car when some idiot in an SUV with 1200w of lights is riding my bumper.

legal limit in MA is 35. I got 28 all around, except windshield. I wish I went darker but I don't want to be bothered with getting pulled over randomly. 28 is perfect at night, too light during the day.

I've lived most my life in CT/MA but also spent 6 years in FL and I gotta agree, I never got bothered for 20% or darker down south. Moved back to CT and actually ended up having to replace the 20% on my door windows with 35% to get through inspection after getting pulled over 3 times for my tinted windows and finally getting a ticket for them.

If you're darker than your state's legal limit - I think it mostly depends on where you live; how you drive; how ghetto'd or rice'd out you are; your attitude; and whether the cop who pulled you over got some action from his girl the night before....
