Yeah, I was advised to not go too dark because it'll be tough to reverse at night.

I have 18% carbon all around except for the front windshield -- which is stock.
I noticed that it's a bit too dark when I try to reverse... Luckily I didn't go any darker.
I live in SoCal and there are plenty of cars around here with blatantly illegal tints.
I believe any tinting to the front windshield is illegal in CA.

Was pulled over for a speeding ticket and went through a check-point before and the cops didn't question my tint. Maybe because my car is black and the interior is black.

 

If you have seen it personally I wouldn't comment.

I have has 5% on the front and you can see just fine...

Please don't comment if you have expirienced it yourself.

 

5% LIMO all around w/ 35% on the windshield.

 

But I have experienced it. Last night I put a on pair of dark sunglasses and tired to drive off. After running over an old lady walking her dog, hitting two trash cans and four cars from the rear, I decided it was not a good idea.

Do any of you guys have to get inspection stickers for your car in your state? they wont pass you if your front windows are below state limit. anyone experience it yet?

 

I got 20% all around. I'm living in Portland right now and the cops seem to be pretty chill about tints around here. The state limit is 35% for all windows, much better then the tint laws in CA.

Got to love Miami Florida! Cops really don't care! Soon they will have lowriders of there own! Wait We have one here with a low-rider can ya guess who? And he also has tint on his front windshield *hint *hint!

 

I have 15% on the rear 3 windows and 20% on the front 2 windows.

On my G35 I had 5% all the way around and 50% on windshild. Honestly it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Pretty much impossible to see at night. Looked good but I would never do it again.

I can see fine out mine at night.
