Stevie Wonder must be who you aspire to be. I have 5% in the rear, and that's pretty damn dark.

Those of us living in Southern California were distressed to read of a fiery crash this week in Irvine where five teenagers were killed after their car, an Infiniti, crashed into a tree at night and literally split in two. Whereas the reports say speed was the likely cause, also mentioned was that the driver had previously been cited for illegal tinted windows. I sure hope the deceased driver was not a forum member here who foolishly thought it was OK to tint his windshield.

We just recently had our shop grocery getter/errand runner Lexus tinted with ceramic tint all around, including the windshield. As with any modifications, it ultimately is up to the end user to determine what is safe and enhances the driving experience, and what is foolish.

The Lexus just has 70% Ceramic tint on the windshield and 50% ceramic tint on the other windows. It's fairly light and almost looks like factory tint, but it keeps out more heat than conventional dark tint. The picture however is deceiving as it looks much lighter in person.

Tint was done by Unique Auto Films in Los Angeles.

I've got 35%. It's the legal limit in Florida but everyone gets way darker. I F*cked up and should have gotten 20-25%. 35% is way to light. Now I have to figure out how to remove it and get it tinted again.

These particular album also includes a couple LEDs I completed today.
