thanks so much for posting the pix. Car looks great! The only thing I'm afraid of is I have the sedan and the rear/front windows are bigger but I certainly think you have encouraged me to get tint via the NJ law. lol
I know you posted the % of tint on each window, but what type of tint do you have and are you satisfied? Thanks again!!!!!

type of tint: johnson window film
satisfied: yes i am! looks great, hasnt faded at all, and i can see great from the inside looking out. i've only had 2 cars so far and both have had this same tint so idk what to compare it to but i haven't had any problems with it so far! got in during the summer when it was around 100 degrees and its shown that its not bubbled or anything over the last few months or due to the change in temperature. i like the film, it wasnt expensive either compared to some of the stuff people are posting here.
No i didnt vinyl it! its 5% Johnson Window Film tint. yeah after the guy did it he said it came out like perfect. i guess im either lucky, or my installer was great! yeah it looks pretty much all black, the look i was trying to go for. thanks for the kind words, makes me love my car a bit more haha

Stakin,
Thanks again! If I may ask, because I don't live far from the Branchburg area, where did you get the car tinted and do you remember the guys name who did it, cost, etc..?
Agree with FM, the tint looks awesome!!!!!

i just got my windows tinted legally at 35%. i'm getting too old to get stressed out about the cops pulling me over for something stupid like that. i'd prefer it to be darker but it looks pretty nice...prefer 20% that i had on my previous cars.

I have 5% all around -windshield. Legal in FL is i believe 28 in the front and 15 in the rear. We are the sunshine state. I've gotten pulled over for my tints in my Maxima(5% all around as well) but not in the G. I've never gotten a ticket though. Always get a have a nice day. Most police understand why my tints are so dark. Law Enforcement... I deal with criminals on a regular bases. Not trying to be run off the round by a disgruntled crook while driving down the highway. The tint also helps protect the interior of the car from the Florida sun.
