Auto Sensing Headlights
Have a 09 G37S Sedan. Lately I've noticed that the auto sensing headlights do not shut off when driving in daylight. Example, if I'm sitting in traffic and get stuck under a bridge for a short period of time, the auto headlights turn on...once i get back into sunlight, the lights don't turn off automatically. They used to shut off automatically. Anyone have this problem or any fixes? Thanks in advance.

I noticed that if you are in an area without sunlight for a long period of time (maybe 5 mins?) then the headlights are not as sensitive and do not shut off while driving in the sunlight. Maybe it's a feature we don't know about?

It depends on the direction of the light; if it's early in the morning, the sunlight is coming at an angle and the sensor does not detect it.
I have the opposite problem; I think the lights come on too fast when going under a bridge or highway overpass; the lights keep going on and off while driving through Southern California maze of bridges and over-passes.
