No, I'm thinking about it though. Kinda ticked about the whole thing. If it wasn't for me hearing about it on this site, I would have never even started asking questions about this stuff, and right now my car would have 2 different clears on it!

Sure goes to show you what dealerships really "know" sometimes. Or better yet what they don't know - but what they'll tell you just to get you out of their face.

TSB ITB07-047b addresses the Scratch Shield and repainting. I would attach it but the file size is too large.

I reseached before getting my repainted....

Wow, that's surprising that there was a TSB about it and the dealership still wasn't aware of it.

I did a google search and came up with the text from TSB ITB07-047b
VARIOUS INFINITI MODELS; PAINT REFINISH FOR SCRATCH SHIELD
Scratch Shield is a newly developed scratch-resistant clear coat which “heals” by itself when the vehicle gets a small scratch in the clear coat. If the scratch reaches the color base coat, however, it will not “heal”. Scratch Shield was implemented for the first time in the U.S. with the 2008 EX35.
