Auto-X Rear Valence

So far I am real disappointed. Fitment isn't as good as I expected it to be. I had to re-double side tape the valence in hopes of getting it to sit correctly and still it does not.

Does anyone have any suggestions or a type of tape that i can use in order for this thing to stick 100%? I am using a 3M double sided tape currently, it came out better but still isnt totally right.

You are confusing fitment with improper mounting techinques. From what Im reading and put in bold means that the tape isnt sticking which means the problem is you, not that the fitment is incorrect. The diffuser is the same mold as mine so there is no way that it doesnt fit.

You need to use an adheasive promoter which if you read the thread that autokits did I clearly state that several times, if not it will not stick by itself

You cant just stick tape on the body and expect it to stick, you need to clean the are with alcohol, let it dry, apply the promoter which stregnthns the seal.

If one of the lips is warped out too much then no amount of tape will hold it in place.

Off topic but how much lower does this diffuser sit on the lower valence. Thing is i have aftermarket exhaust and i think with this diffuser it might touch the tips?

I don't know exactly how much lower but Solismo has HKS exhaust and it clears fine, I assume by your sig that's what you have?

And yes, based on his asking about tape it's clear he's not using the adhesive promoter, thus user errror. If the IS using promoter then it still could be user errror as you really should have someone who has installed these types of things do it to ensure the best fit.

What's with everyone on the forum being butt hurt nowadays? Is it constipation season over there or what?

Please keep your posts on topic and please don't take the internet too serious, if you feel so offended, report the post or PM the mods and we will take necessary action.

Thanks
