We've experienced a lot of heavy rain lately in my neck of the woods. I was cleaning the car today, vacuuming the drivers side when I noticed the mat seemd a little too damp on the left side near the foot rest. I took out the mat and founf that the carpet was pretty wet from the footrest back towards the seat about halfway or more, and about 3 to 5 inches out from the side of the car.

I have been very careful not leave windows open, etc., so I'm wondering, could this be the result of some sort fo driver's side door leak? Or sunroof drain issue? Or AC line? (still muggy and hot down here) - are there any known issues that cause this sort of result / wet carpet pattern?

It's possible I simply tracked in enough water to do this over the past couple of days, but unlikely - I am in and out of my minivan in the rain all the time and I have never gotten such a wet carpet in such a specific location (near door seals and various drains).

Any ideas? My delaer is 90 miles away, so it's not so easy to 'just take it to the dealer...'

If your problem is with a Dodge Charger, why are you asking for information in an Infiniti G37 forum?

If it's a MOPAR, then you should expect leaks.

This old post & "leak" situation happened nearly 3 years ago.
Judging by the op's sig, the G is long gone and NOW a dodge is owned...

Seems that not many people pay much attention to original posts before they grab the opportunity to increase their post counts.
You can wonder, OR, you can actually take the time to read before posting

Is this your way of nicely telling us to Go Pound Sand? I for one would not expect a 3 y/o post to show up. So no, I did not take the time to search the fine print for a date. I think you should consider saving your powder for something threatening to you, rather than burn it off over this.

CPA is right...didn't even bother to look at the date because wasn't expecting to have a 3 year old post pop up. Most people, when they revive a dead thread, say so in their post.

It only takes me a second to glance at the original post date before I begin to scroll down. searching the fine print for a date? Lazy or just forgot, didn't see it maybe...

What's with the obsession of the post count of a member about? (not the first time I've seen you implying that a post count is somehow relevant when someone else has something to say)

Some members are real car gurus and thankfully they're here to help with the most informative type posts and threads.
Some members know a bit about cars and are here to learn more, help the noobs, and get caught up in, or just enjoy the internet camaraderie. Some members have 1000's of posts, others also have 1000's of posts but recently have abruptly stopped adding to their useless post count.
Some members like myself, read everything, but rarely, if ever, post anything. I find all the information that I need thanks to extremely useful members like modme and others. I don't even have to ask a thing, so I don't post.

Looking back at what I have written, it seems I asked a couple questions. Waste more time and make yet another post if you still feel the need to argue this with someone.
