LED Turn Signals - Whos done this?
Hey Guys,
Anyone installed LED bulbs for turn signals with Load resistors?
If you have where did you place the resistors?
I ask this since they get real hot and your supose to relocate away from bulb and housing.
This is by far a much needed mod and I am surprised Infiniti didnt add LED turn signals.

I bought the V-Leds but never ended up installed them. Still gotta send them back for a refund. Decided not to bother because I didn't want to take the bumper back off to get the lights back off just to install the resistors.

Why are you looking to switch the turn signal to LED?

I just thought it would look good and its safer.Whenever I look at the rear lights I still ask myself why Infiniti didn't finish of what they started.
Have you done it ucla bruin for yourself or any clients? You are the man to ask that's for sure!

I am interested in this also, not for the front but I need something brighter in the back, I went a little overboard with the VHT Nightshade... at night it isn't an issue at all but during the day I am so nervous about someone slamming into me because they didn't see the turn signal.

I did it for my rear turns. Used Pilot LI-7440RCZ from Pep Boys. Added a 6-Ohm 25 watt resistor so it blinks normally. The package says you don't need a resistor but it lies. Looks great because the light turning on and off is instantaneous. I tried some 9 LED bulbs from Superbrightleds and they were not bright at all.
