Touch-up Paint Question

I've had my G37S for less than a month and already got a couple deep scratches on it. The scratches are down to the metal. Where can I get touch up paint fast? Is OEM really better? Can anyone suggest a good place to buy or should I go to the dealer?

Also.... a friend sat in gum and then sat in my car. Turns out the gum disappears with a little WD40. AMAZING stuff

Thanks guys.

Just get if from the dealer. It will be bad enough to have paint blobs on your car. If it isn't the exact color that will only make it worse. Also, if the parts dept. guy is cool he may just give you a bottle.

How did you manage to get those scratches? In Dubai, I'd get them fixed under insurance through the dealer dunno how it works there. If it's down to the metal then you'll probably have to repaint. Got pix? (Those speak a thousand words)

Welcome on board btw

I went to a Nissan dealer, armed with research of Nissan vehicles that have the same paint code (k51 for my case which the Murrano 09' has, your door jam should tell you the code). They gave me a 3 oz. plastic bottle from their body-shop, and when I as how much so I could pay, they said I don't have to! The paint matches perfectly, I tested it on the engine bay and been using it since...

But seriously, if it is down to the metal, you are going to have to have it repainted. It will never look right if you just try touch up paint. I ordered mine from Grubbs Infiniti. It was like 25 dollars.

If you're going w/ touch up paint just go to your local Infiniti dealership in person. It's supposed to be $7 but a lot of times the parts guys will just give a bottle to you.

cool... thanks guys.
btw the scratch happened while I was trying to clean the gum off the passenger seat. I squatted down and the buckle on the top of my boots scraped the sideskirt hard.... hmmm guess you had to be there to picture it. Stupid mistake... has nothing to do with my driving skills But anyway, there are 3 deep scratches. I was more mad that I scraped my own car than my friend getting gum inside... and to top it off, on my way home something gashed my rim on the freeway. My car doesn't look brand new anymore.

Thanks for your comments.

That's what happen when you don't wear bikinis, and go bare-feet while washing or cleaning your G.
