Sedan rear seats does not fold down?

Sorry for the noob question, but I was working on the amplifier install today, and nothing has gone right. The speaker/amp wiring diagrams for the coupe are apparently different than the sedans. Also, the bose amp is installed directly under the rear deck, rather than inside the spare tire well...making it akward to access.

But I cannot seem to fold the rear seats down, and looking at the owner's manual by Infiniti, it seems that only the coupe rear seats can fold down, is this true? Or did I totally miss the boat on something? Thanks guys!

the rear seats in the sedan DO NOT fold down, but in the coupe they DO!

Very very annoying for us Sedan owners!

There is nothing to be annoyed about this. This is purely for the structural rigidity purpose.

I'd much rather have the rigid chassis than flop down seats.

..also the coupe has extra reinforcement (&weight) due to the big azz doors,
& the fold down pass through is shallow so still has some reinforcement.

And.... Coupe owners that are looking for handling improvements,
often end up adding a rear strut bar for added stiffness.

Not a big issue for me since my wife drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I can use this fact so I don't have to haul anything in my car. I used to haul everything in my previous 02 WRX Wagon. But in all honesty I'm sure most people would rather have both.
