Question Anyone have issues with aftermarket D2S HID bulbs, fogging, damaging housings?

I've been trying to find info on after market brand D2S bulbs. I know quality-wise, most of them aren't going to be up to par with Philips/Osram/Kioto. But, I've read stories that some people experienced fogging of the inside housing and permanent damage to the projector bowls. Others say they experienced incorrect focal point alignment and weird ghosting hot spots. Others say they died quickly.

I've got most of that info from hid planet and most of those guys are just against anything non-OEM. I have been using only Philips genuine 4300K D2S on my cars for the past 6 years (my cars are retrofitted). But the G37 projectors make very yellow light. So I ordered a pair of 5000K Morimoto bulbs and am now skeptical of installing them. What are some of you guys real life experiences? I've got most of that info from hid planet and most of those guys are just against anything non-OEM.

Hm I never heard of this issue. I have HPA 6000k bulbs in mine and they project just like stock. I would say as long as they are quality bulbs, it should not be a problem.

I have 6000K, no problem. Just switching out the bulb with one at a higher kelvin, should not expect any issue. the ones I got had life time warranty from Amplified Motorsports, don't have to worry about it dying prematurely. or dying at all, for that matter, haha.
