How durable are the seats?

How durable are the seats?
The reason I ask this is because many times I'll hope in my car, after a long workout at the gym, or after doing a run outside, and I'm soaked in sweat. I usually try to pat myself down, but my shorts/pants are usually pretty damp. Can the seat handle a little dampness/wetness? Just wasnt sure if this would cause it to fade, deterioate, etc...

for a minute, I thought the leather was developing pimples.... like leather chicken pox.....

oh ok.
now i see what the bubble bulge thing is.
it happens even on Lexus.
I haven't seen any leather seat without wrinkles and bulges.
Maybe semi-analine seats are better. but you'll never find that at this price range.

I always get into my car all sweaty after the gym, if it's really wet I usually wipe it down though. The seat padding on the bottom kind of sucks, if I wear cargo shorts the buttons leave imprints on the leather and the bubble issue is there... I make it a habit to smooth out the leather after.

Leather left wet will deteriorate. It will crack and then just fall apart. Sweaty guy needs to put the towel down first. Smooth it out all nice. THEN sit down! I am a big guy and I am brutal on a seat, so I expect to see things. The sport seats have held up well so far, but only 15,000 miles down and more to come.

Leather is skin, and like we humans have skin we have to keep it clean right? It's the same with leather. Keep it clean or it will wrinkle up, deteriorate, and become something else.

I remember reading early when I got my car a post where someone said they make it a point to never leave wallet or anything in their back pockets, that stuck with me and till this day I always remove my wallet before seating. I'm the same when I work out, I try to always put a towel down first. So far seats are still looking great with 15k miles. My gf used to get mad at me for always making sure she didn't have anything is her back pockets, like cell phone, now she's used to it and does the same as me.
