My gf used to get mad at me for always making sure she didn't have anything is her back pockets, like cell phone, now she's used to it and does the same as me.

I already had my seats replaced once due to bubbling. Since then I always remove my wallet before getting in my car. I have not had any issues since.

Of all the pictures I have seen, the seat only bubbles on the right side, where your wallet is located. It is especially bad for people like Gamedog or Jqueen with those super fat wallets

solution keep your wallet in your FRONT pocket, unless you have so much cash it don't close.

I see now why you are asking all of the questions. Last time I looked at a Grand Prix, the wooden seats were covered in natural nuagahide. Some think it's leater, but it's not. No wonder it lasted for 9 years, I beat the rest of it did not survive as well (paint, medal, and engine). Maybe if they used that "leather" for paint, I would not see so many mutli-colored Grand Prix around that smoke and rattle.

I love my G, but I don't think the leather seats are durable/high end at all. I seldom have a passenger yet the side (right) leg bolster on the passenger side is already quiet wrinkled.

Durable and high end are two completely differnet ends of the spectrum. High end is super soft leather. Durable is crappy hard leather that will last forever.

You will never get both, so suck it up and stop crying. If you get a bubble, go to the dealer and get a new seat.

The G leather is neither durable nor high-end.

EDIT - I take that statement back, somewhat. Leather conditioning makes a huge difference.
