Welcome to dealing with status elite. My radiator cover had scratches and a large blemish. My battery cover and brake master cylinder cover fit like ****. I was unhappy so I got the you can return it for minus the 25% restocking fee. So I to have made sure I never buy one of their ****ty products.

because life sucks. what do you want me to say?
he was sent a product that was damaged yet he continued to install it. then when he installed it and saw the fitment was bad, he took it off and wanted a full refund. now without proof of the damage prior to install its a he said/she said argument which will go nowhere. the fitment issues are understandable and if that was all there was, he might have had better luck. thankfully he brought this to light for the rest of the community to see so we all know to be wary around this company. however, there are others out there who have gotten the product and been happy with it. so its really up to each individual if they are willing to take the risk.

It was the buyer's decision and responsibility to determine whether the fitment was good enough prior to install. How did you not catch that obvious knick prior to install? Something doesn't make sense. I'm not saying SE is in the clear since fitment obviously isn't the best on their parts but YOU made the decision to install it.
This is the risk you take with aftermarket parts. This policy is not uncommon amongst vendors in the industry. Whether they want to enforce it however at the expense of bad PR is another story..
