New hood inside, anyone know the name?

I contacted my local shop here in Houston regarding a carbon fiber hood for my new G37 coupe. After being shown the selection from Seibon and Vis, I was a bit disappointed. It seems like the same design used for every other car they make parts for, I wanted something original and unique.

They then e-mailed me a picture of what looks like a prototype hood, but they didn't say who made it or how much it was. Has anyone seen this hood or know where I can find it? Thanks in advance !

-Stephan (Yes I tried searching but found nothing)

I could be wrong but this looks like the one being developed by Mastergrade/Showstoppers.
They used to be a vendor here but not anymore because of some mad drama.
I never did find out if this design was ever put into production.

I called Showstoppers and they had no idea what I was talking about, I checked the Mastergrade website and I don't see anything. I'm going to try e-mailing them to see, I really like the layout of the vents. Thanks Myk for leading me in the right direction.

No offense taken, to me this is 1000x better then anything else available for the 37. If it isn't a Mastergrade hood, anyone know who does make it?

I tried searching "CarbonLTD" and came up with nothing.

Got it confirmed, it IS a Mastergrade hood. I ended up ordering it with their trunk for a really good deal.

I'll make sure to do a review when they come in. Thanks for all your help

Ya, I read that thread...pretty crazy stuff. I'm not one to judge, especially without hearing the other side of the story. These parts are too unique and nice to pass up, Once I saw that blue 37 with the trunk I knew there was no going back. I'll just keep my fingers crossed, thanks for the heads up !

Wow that's playing with fire there.. Anyways, if they ask for your car for "perfect fitment" don't give it to them and make sure you have a way of getting your money back in case they decide to screw you. You've been warned haha naah just looking out for you bro.

Best of luck and keep us posted please

Ya, I figured I'm not bringing or leaving my car to them so I shouldn't have to worry about that. Order was placed via credit card, so my **** is covered. They did tell me it was going to be a 3-4 week wait, which I kind of expected. I will deffinetly keep you guys posted !
