Where did the pictures go?

 

i still have my TSX lenses sitting in the shop haha, im gonna put em in as soon as i change up my lights a bit.

 

I did mine as well. It is a huge difference

Here are the TSX and G37 lenses side by side.




Here is just the G37 lens, notice the cloudy murkey view. If you look close you can actually see lots of little circular ribs.





Here is the TSX lense. Perfectly smooth and clear.

 

How difficult of a swap is this?

 

I was looking through your mod progression page (as I'm prone to do) and I came across the lens you changed out. Then I tried researching these and came across this thread that looked to be what I was looking for but all the pictures are gone.

Where can I get more info on these lens? How much are they?

 

I found my lenes for 65 bucks on ebay. They 75 or best offer. I offered 65 and they accepted. Shipping was like 8 bucks.

Honestly it was pretty damn hard. It is difficult to remove the metal shroud that holds the lenses on. They are actually crimped onto the projector housings. So you have to use a little screw driver to bend the metal out and be very careful. The edges are very razor sharp and can slice your hand open pretty easy.

Just take your time and wear gloves if you have some.

 

take the head light apart??

 

Yes you have to take the headlights apart. I waited to do mine when I did my Iron Man mod and painted my headlights.
