I am sure if you removed all the leather seats, stereo, ac, dash...... I bet you could shave off about 200 lbs. That is about 6-7% weight savings. WHOOOOO. That should shave atleast a fraction a second.

I am only giving him my opinion about this in order for him not to come back in three months and create a thread with a title: "What the F have I done?"

Just looking out for a fellow member here, it's his car and he can do whatever he wants in the end of the day

Go buy a 240sx
Why did you buy a G37 in the first place? You should have gotten a 370Z that does not come with a moonroof.

Sad but true. If you actually build a full on track monster, you will be worshiped. But if you only go half way, you will be ridiculed for ruining a luxury car.

MyG37 is a fickle fickle *****.

I would normally agree with what's being said here as the consensus opinion, but for some unknown reason I find myself very interested in this project and pulling to see you succeed. I think I actually "get" what you are doing here. If you're going to do it, go all out and do it 100%.

LastChance was one of the regulars during last year's season of canyon runs

I think he was inspired after he did a track day at Autoclub (fontana) Speedway... he was litterally doing a out-in-out for every turn at the canyon.... within the lane of course.

Course when he's following cars that are prepped, there's always that need to want to be faster

off topic: Where you there the night the T/A s2k's came and a certain G driver crashed my MR2?

In Holland we have the option to leave out the sunroof.
Ordering one with or without a sunroof doesn't change anything in the price.
IMO the sunroof just adds a little more luxury, but hey that's me.
