has anyone painted their lower vents body color?

Except for BO, has anyone painted their lower center mesh and side faux vents body color? Mine are black and my car is black, but that doesn't really count. I do think they look 1000 times better painted a glossy black rather then that fading gray color that they tend to get with age.

Pictures if you have them.

Yes, I know several have done glossy black. It looks so much better than the unpainted grayish black original color. Anybody else done them body color? I want to see if it looks like "too much".

I think body color faux vents would be too much. I feel like the material and the mess design should only be black.

I was thinking that it may be too much as well but wanted to see if anybody had done it to see actual photos of it, not photoshops. The Glossy black makes a huge difference and is very easy to do IMO, but not many people have bothered.

if youre gonna paint the side faux vents glossy, ABSOLUTELY paint the mesh in the middle, otherwise itll look retarded.

The way i plan to make my foglights in the vents i was going to color match them so i guess well see how it looks once its done.

I did mine too in BO. Not too hard to do and definitly worth the effort. Be interesting to see another color....
