Blacked out tail lights?
I got a Platinum Graphite G37s. I was thinking of blacking the tail lights just a bit, hoping to get some input from other G drivers. Thoughts anyone?

This change is supported by G37CAB0002 in both complete and GTR style, however be aware that in some states this is illegal. Many folks do it anyway and rarely get fix it ticketed. Other's have been busted, you have to ask yourself a question.. do you feel lucky...? GTR style would probably hold up as "Red" in color since the key areas are Red.
California for example.

(e) Taillamps shall be red in color and shall be plainly visible from all distances within 500 feet to the rear except that taillamps on vehicles manufactured after January 1, 1969, shall be plainly visible from all distances within 1,000 feet to the rear.

I didnt even know there was an option between 3/10 and 6/10. I just ordered GTR and I got this light smoke stuff. I really hate mine and now I have to buy a whole new set.
Also did yours come with weird relief cuts all over them? I didnt know it until my installer pointed them out, but all my GTR circles have a cut on them.
