Cooled Seats

Do you think this might be a good option (check the link below)? Comes with just the ventilation kit or heated and ventilation. I would only be interested in the ventilation kit. I'm a little jealous that the new Maxima gets cooled seats with the premium package. Any other options (like putting in ones that maybe come with other infiniti models? Or maybe getting the parts that come for the Max?

That actually sounds pretty cool.

I love this though, seat massagers.

The 09 FX35/50 and the 09 M35/45 also have cooled seats.

I don't understand why Infiniti wouldn't put cooled seats in the G. It should be a standard luxury just like heated seats. Actually when it comes down to it I'd prefer cooled more than heated. Leather tends to burn the hell out of my *** in the spring and summer. Sometimes even in the winter when the sun is out. They should make something for the G to have either the heated or cooled seat function to automatically come on once it's unlocked that way as you approach the car, the seats are already cooled or heated and ready for you to sit in them.

Just an idea.......

probably 2010 model..... It's one of those little marketing deployment schemes. How else would they be able to sell the newer vehicles w/o upgrades that Infiniti knows they already possess....

The major thing that would probably sway me into getting the 2010 (if they make the minor little upgrades) is maybe a twin turbo option. Other than that, things like cooled seats, side blinkers, etc. may not sway me into getting the 2010. Do you think a seat swap with the other Infiniti models mentioned, or getting the internals (fans, etc) may be a better option? I really would like this feature. Cooled seats I think are more key than heated seats. Putting the heat on is sufficient to warm you, but putting on the a/c sometimes doesn't cut it for hot @ss seats...

If Lexus made it in a coupe, that would be something interesting. Otherwise, not really feeling that 4dr girls car.

Yep, they messed it up. The no manual gearbox for the IS-F is also a fail.

it's all about cost. look at how they deleted the compass in the rearview mirror if you get nav.... in the long run of how money dollars they'll save... they'll pass it on to the cost of the car.

the cooled/heated seats are nice, but the cars that have it usually have a noisy fan involved in the process.

It would be nice to have cooled seats but I wouldn't rip out a seat to do it.

Maybe since its always turned on you don't have a reference point to compare it to, heh.

Cooled seats are awesome, but I've heard horror stories from people with the M35/45 that if you're kinda sweaty on a hot day and get on the cooled seat, all the sweat condenses and you get out of the car pretty wet....

Gross lol
