Has anyone had the drivers side floor mat replaced?

My car has a little over 5,000 miles on it, and I'm already getting a "hole" in the drivers side mat. Basically the carpet material just comes off and leaves a patch of rubber under it. I had this on my G35 too, and it can get annoying. I was wondering if anyone had talked to the dealer about this, I really don't want to have to buy another mat.

Tom

I got my set replaced for free because of this problem. I was told that it wasn't covered under warranty as it is wear and that they were just doing it for me as a courtesy cause I'm cool like dat.

The replacement set is now much worse than the first set ever was.

I'm probably going to just replace these with the all weather rubber ones and call it a day.

all weather mats are good, but they don't look as cool and don't have the white logo (which was a horrible choice) since mine is basically black now

Elite stop taking pics from my photobucket.

I do not like the rubber mats at all, its not like I'm getting into this car with muddy boots. The carpet mats are much better for day-to-day driving.

Kenny, I will defn stop by the dealer some time soon, I need some other stuff fixed on the car.

All season mats here too. I LOVE the regular mats (the white logo on a black mat looks slick, but I could see how it'll get dirty easy). So, I just keep the all seasons in there for everyday driving, but take them out if I'm taking a girl out (the regular mats look much better).

Nike Shox, they are the cause the problem. Normal shoes wouldnt dig into the carpet so bad, but these dig in. I guess its time to find new shoes
